Schiphol Micro Conference on Circularity in Airports
On 6 March 2025, TULIPS partners EME and Schiphol organised a micro-conference on Circularity in Airports. A thought-provoking and action-driven occasion for innovators, experts, and change-makers!

Airports seize their role in circular economy transition
Airports can play a crucial role in the transition to a circular economy, from reducing cabin waste to the way we build and operate. By integrating circular principles, airports can maximise resource efficiency and minimise environmental impact throughout the lifecycle of aviation and airport assets. In a world where resources are becoming scarcer and more precious, this approach is increasingly rewarding. To achieve this, we must act now, and collaboration is key. During our micro-conference, we combined our forces and shared best practices to explore ways we can close the loop together.
