The energy transition represents one of the most critical challenges of our time, and airports find themselves in the midst of this transformation. 

TULIPS is at the forefront of testing and validating several concepts and technologies. We would like to share our preliminary results and lessons learned with you during our TULIPS Progress Event. Subjects cover amongst others energy storage, hydrogen tech, and clean strategies.

Following the success of the inaugural Hydrogen Airports Conference in Brussels, organized by Stargate in collaboration with ACI Europe and To70, the 2nd Hydrogen Airports Conference, hosted by TULIPS, will take place on October 11, 2024. This event will highlight new developments in hydrogen technology and its significance for airports. Industry leaders and experts will convene to discuss challenges, share knowledge, and explore the role of airports in advancing hydrogen adoption.

During our launch event on October 27, 2022, we unveiled plans for 17 demonstrator projects aimed at enhancing airport sustainability. The event featured an aftermovie capturing the ‘Sustainable Airport Challenge,’ as well as livestreams covering three key topics: Greener flight, Smart airport, and Clean airport.
