May 2024
The energy transition represents one of the most critical challenges of our time, and airports find themselves in the midst of this transformation. For years, we’ve relied on energy sources that contribute to carbon emissions, but now we face a vital and complex shift. How can we adapt our infrastructure to embrace clean energy sources? How do we prevent local grid congestion caused by the surge in power demand due to electrification? These questions demand innovative solutions.
But amidst the challenges, the clean energy transition also presents exciting opportunities. Can airports evolve from mere energy consumers into energy consumers and producers? What smart strategies can we implement?
EU Green Deal project TULIPS is at the forefront of testing and validating several concepts and technologies. We would like to share our preliminary results and lessons learned with you during our TULIPS Progress Event.
Agenda Highlights
- Updates on TULIPS demonstrations: Get informed about TULIPS solutions for energy storage such as the Iron flow Battery, and smart microgrids. Learn about cutting-edge technologies, such as our hydrogen GPU demo
- Panel Discussions: Engage in discussions with airport partners and researchers. Ask questions, share experiences, and collaborate on clean energy strategies.
- Networking Opportunities: Connect with like-minded professionals, forge partnerships, and exchange ideas during our networking sessions.
Why Attend?
- Gain practical insights to accelerate your airport’s clean energy journey.
- Network with airport partners and solution providers.
- Be part of the solution—help us take our demos to the next level.
